Hi, KC! I had been an avid fan of your famous parents…the “Sharon-Gabby” love team since my high school days. I never missed out even a single movie of this two sweethearts. It really broke my heart upon hearing about their bitter separation years ago. I even broke into tears for so many nights about this, like crazy! And my heart really went all out for the “only daughter” that this two beautiful people ever had….and that’s you KC.
I always pray to God for this moment, that someday you will be reunited with your father again. And I am very thankful and happy upon hearing about this great news. I am so proud of you, KC!

First off, HELLO! I have been a big fan of your parents since I was a teenager (still is) Even after we left the Philippines, I never failed to watch their movies and your mom’s concerts here in the US. When a friend from San Francisco called to tell me you were coming to see your Dad after 10 long years, I was ecstatic. When I saw pics of you together, I have no idea what came over me, but tears started streaming down my face. I was so touched and was overwhelmed w/ so much emotion, seeing the two of you together. There is no mistaken the joy in your Dad’s eyes. You see KC, my father left us when I was only 1 year old. My mom has been my “mom” and “dad” until she re- married my stepdad. My Mom always tells me things happens for a reason and that I should forgive and forget. My Dad tried to get in touch, but I guess I’m not as forgiving as you are. I think it’s because I never did know him, nor spent time w/ him like you did w/ your Dad before he left the Phils. Your Mom did such a wonderful job of raising you. You grew up to be such a great and intelligent person. You probably already heard this so many times but your father loves you so much. Every single person (especially in CA) who knows and ‘hangs out’ w/ your Dad knows that! They even joked that your Dad talks about you more than he ‘talks’ about the house he was trying to sell. He’s just so darn proud of you, and he should be! I hope that next time your Mom has a concert in the US, that you will come along so I can see you in person. You were only 4 when I saw you in one of your Mom’s concerts in Manila. My gosh, I can’t believe you are now 21. Don’t ever change girl…..and again, KUDOS to you Sharon for a job well done!!!!! and oh KC, a group of friends are planning a trip to Paris early next year, hope to see ya there! Love you bunches!!!!

When I was in Highschool, your parent were the most Popular and Perfect Couple in Showbiz in our Country and I was (still} one of thier solid fan. It did broke my heart when the two of them went on separate ways. The good thing is, that, they had created a ” Wonderful Blessing” that everyone would always cherish, and remind us of them, and that is YOU! Eversince you are a child, and until now, your resemblance to your father is just amazing and can never be denied. You are your Fathers daugther, and will always be, no matter what have/had happened. I’am so happy to hear that you had reunited with him, after 10 long years of not seeing each other. And i’m so PROUD of YOU, for doing so. You’re right, Time is so short, and we’ll never know what’s gonna happen tomorrow. Youre parents are not getting any younger either, and its just right that you see, feel, and experience both of their Love and affection, cause you deserve it. I know it’s not that easy to Forgive and Forget, but you have such a Brave and Kind Heart just like your Mother and that’s what make her special in me. But one thing I can assure you, is that no matter what your father did, or whatever had happened, he will always LOVE YOU, and SO PROUD of you!
Now, that i have three kids of my own (a boy and 2 girls) they are in the same situation like you, only they are much younger my son is 9,and my daughters are 7 and 6 1/2 yrs old, thier father (white-American) told me how he misses them so much, that day after day, months after months that he cried. I can imagine the same as your Dad. You see, everything that happens in this world had a cause, and that we have no power to change it. GOD is the only one that can Undo things, and he knows what is best for us. All we can do is Pray, and have Faith in Him, and he’ll never Forsake Us!
I salute your Mom, for bringing up such a respectful and loving child like you. For teaching you forgiveness, and for helping you find Peace in your heart. See, GOD is Peace. If you have peace in your heart that means GOD is in You! Take Care, and God Bless.

Hi KC. Nakita ko ang presentation ng buhay mo sa France. Isa lang ang gusto kong ipaalam sa iyo. Si Laurence Ligier na sinasabi mong nakilala mo sa Paris ay kilalang tomboy dito sa Iloilo. May relasyon sila ng schoolmate ko noon sa Antique na si Baby Rendon at minsan si Baby ay nagtangkang magsuicide dahil sa selos. Concern lang ako. Ingat ka sa kanya. Baka type ka niya. I would like to commend you for your achievements as depicted in your TV special last Sunday aired over ABS-CBN. Your story gave me a breath of fresh air with all the “polluted stories” we hear about young showbiz personalities getting knocked up by married men or bragging about their soon to be released FHM cover.
It refilled my spring of hope that there are still decent, intelligent and compassionate young people in the world of showbiz who are worthy of emulation.
I admire your sense of adventure and courage to pursue your college education in a foreign country. I am writing in behalf of Mga Kaibigan ng mga Kabataang may Kanser (Friends of Children with Cancer) or KKK, Inc for short. It is a non-stock, non-profit corporation formed in 2007 in Iloilo by a small group of doctors and other concerned citizens, with the objective of providing financial support for chemotherapy to cancer-stricken children, who come from indigent Filipino families that can even barely feed their members. These poor families never had a budget for medical needs, more so for expensive chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy. In fact, most of these children with cancer die because the necessary treatments were not availed of, due to financial constraints. Costly cancer treatment forces many children and their families to drop their plans for the future and just focus on surviving in the present.
The group is presently supporting the treatments of seven recipients, with ages ranging from 2 to 14. Six of them are diagnosed to have Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, a type of cancer with a good prognosis, provided that prompt and adequate medications are administered. The other one is a case of a 5-year old female with retinoblastoma (cancer of the eye). She has had her involved eye surgically removed and still requires subsequent chemotherapy. These children come from the Iloilo and Guimaras islands in the Western Visayas part of the Philippines.
Personally, I have been touched by stories of children who are ill, and who senselessly lose their lives only because they were not accorded the proper care and medical treatments. But through this organization, I feel that with any help, be it financial or otherwise, we could make a change in somebody’s life no matter how small that may be.
