Hi, I am currently working in Saudi Arabia and will be having my vacation this coming May 2010. My boyfriend resides in Cebu City while I am originally from Zamboanga City. I asked my mom to file for us in Zamboanga City but she was told that filing will only be done once both of us are already in Zamboanga City. Now my question is, can filing be done in Zamboanga but marriage at the court will be done in Cebu?

I also have some clarifications since my vacation is only for one month. I will arrive on May 13th and my fiancee on May 14th. He will have his early flight to Zamboanga on the 14th, can we directly go to the office of city registrar in Zamboanga on the 14th to file for the license and have the seminar on the same day as well? Assuming we could have the seminar on the 14th, how long would it take us to have the license to marry? I hope you could response to my email and tell me the necessary steps so I could fix my schedule. I am little bit worried since we already booked our flight to Cebu on May 22. Hi I want to know more of what are the requirements needed to get married in the Philippines if we already have a marriage license here in the US. We both live here in the US and have been married. We are planning of getting married in the Philippines on June 2011 and I need to know more information of how long does it take to aquire a marriage license to get married in a church in the Phil? We are going there for 3weeks and planning of doing the wedding on our 2nd weekend of stay in there. If given a chance, is it possible for my brother to fix some stuff for me while im here in the US? I will send all copies of our IDs and all documentation and original birthcertificate. Is it possible for me to send a notarized letter stating that I am giving my brother a permission to help me manage the required documentation needed to attain a license to marry in the Philippines. Please reply as soon as possible, before we can finalize our arrangement in travel. Thank you.

I am an Indian National andI am in Philippine from last 5 years, and I have one child of age 2 years from my philippino partner. I want to get legel status so we both can get married. I have no establish business to spend mony to get legel capcity. How can I solve my problem to be a legel person.

hi!!i just want to ask since my boyfriend and I are planning to get married this march 20,2010…but he is now working in canada,but still a filipino citizen..he will arrive here in philippines on march 11.and definitely we could just start applying for a marriage contract on march 12…would it be possible for us to get marry on march 20?does the 10 days waiting period really relevant?does he also need to get a CONI?if so,can he just get it in canada just before he leaves there?

I have an Indian muslim fiance and we are planning to get married. Can i apply for the license myself coz he can only stay for a short period of time due to his work in another country. I wanted to ask since I got a list of requirements in my Local City Hall (manila) is states that for those who were born in manala, Local Birth certificate is ok, but I just wanted to make sure since I dont want to get any hassles that an NSO birth certificate will be required. to tell you honestly, there are many inconsistencies and irregularities when it comes to those kinds of requirements.In addition it is so time consuming to apply for that NSO even if they claim that they have upgraded such procesdures that they have..

I just want to ask several question I want to know…
My fiancee and I were planning (civil wedding) to get married here in the Philippines this comming july 2010. He is from Australia. He’s comming back here in the Philippines for our wedding on July. My wan’ts me process everything since he’s in Australia for his work.
1. What are some of the papers needed to apply for marriege license?
2. Can I arrange and process it by myself here w/o the presence of my fiancee?
3. What are the document’s I need to ask from him?
4. How many days it takes to process?
5. How much I have to pay for the marriege license?
6. What are some other fees? (pls. state how much)
7. How it will cost for a civil wedding?
8. How much cost to pay for the judge?

Any informations and suggestions would help us.
