4 Filipinos were fired from their jobs at Hongkong Disneyland. They (all males) were involved in a cellphone scandal where they were playing around naked. Although their shift was over when the incident happened they were still terminated from their jobs. A number of Filipinos are working in the theme park since it opened in 2005.

An oil tanker that sank in the Philippines last week is leaking tons of fuel, affecting the local marine and coastal ecosystems.
The M/V Solar I, chartered by Petron, the Philippines’ largest oil refiner, was carrying 2.4 million litres of oil to the southern island of Mindanao when it went down in unusually rough waters off Guimaras Island, several hundred kilometres south of the capital, Manila.

If you’re planning to go abroad particularly in the US, never bring with you any kind of liquid or gel (lotion, eyedrops, hair gel, etc.) as these are not allowed anymore. That after the spoiled terrorist attack in London just recently. Laptops and mobile phones are also not allowed in your hand carried luggage, you will need to check them in. Think of what could’ve happen if the last terrorist plot succeeded. Can’t we all just get along?

After the shocking news that Garci is running for congress, now its boxing superstar Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. Manny recently registered in Manila instead of his hometown in General Santos which many say might be the signal that Pacquiao will run for vice mayor in 2007.
