APPLE – “Someone To Watch Over Me” – Good choice of song. What a way to start the competition! Mr. C said, “I like it, it was not exaggerated…I heard good tones in your voice.” I agree. Apple sang it beautifully & she’s very sexy. I just don’t know why she has not had a BF. Well maybe in time. Keep it up!

ARMS – “If I Believed” – Another good performance since I started to like her when she sang “Anak” 2 weeks ago. I just don’t know why Reymond gave her a flower. Shouldn’t it be Drae? Baka nahihiya si Drae umakyat sa stage kaya pinabigay na lang kay Reymond. Side comment: I’m glad she didn’t say, “…vote wisely!” :)

KEN – “Get Here” – Whoa?! Mr. C said, “…to all Ken haters, tinamaan kayo ng kidlat!” Haha! Yes I’m a Ken Hater since his Wildcard performance! But tonight his performance was good enough for me. Except for some “stray notes” because of the “kulots” I’d say he was generally in tune. It seems to me that he has already performed this song before because he knew it so well. Unlike last week’s “Ligaya” when he messed up his lyrics. It took him 5 weeks to be able to come up with a good performance! Ryan A. said, “…Ken welcome back to the competition.” For me he should have been voted out in the 1st week. But if he goes home tomorrow night what a shame! Kung kelan pa siya nakapag-perform ng maayos tsaka siya matatanggal. :(

POW – “For Once In My Life” – I enjoyed her performance tonight. It was full of energy. She seemed to have enjoyed it also. But nothing really special. Mamita is still hoping Pow will wear a gown. Dream on Mamita! :)

JAN – “Kailangan Kita” – This is the WORST performance tonight! There was no connection at all! He had a lot of “flats”. And again his placement was going down! I agree with Mr. C that he was very detached from the song. He’s singing “…kailangan kita ngayon at kailanman” with matching “pa-cute” smile! WTF?! :mad:

MAU – “I Will Always Love You” – Very “Whitney Houston”! That’s my #1 comment for her tonight. From the outfit to the technique to the drama even some of the facial expressions. Mr. C said, “Magaling ka naman palagi…pero dapat medyo iniba mo (forgot the exact words).” I agree. But I’m still a fan! She’s still my bet! She’s got a voice way superior than the others. Luke Mejares said, “…sana mag-guest ka sa next album ko.” :D

MIGUEL – “Sandra” – 2 weeks in a row! Last week I gave him a smiling face for “Harana”. This week is no exception. Wow! He’s trying to prove Mr. C wrong. Mr. C said, “…you can do High School & THIS competition.” Talk about eating your words Mr. C! Haha! I’d say it’s a great choice of song! He showed a lot of “maturity”. I’d say A LOT! Plus the fact that he dedicated the song to his mom (who is beautiful by the way). And he played the piano! Another Wow! Hmm…Am I beginning to like him (just like Arms 2 weeks ago)? :D

JELI – “You Don’t Know Me” – Not so good for me. Good thing she had the couch! Haha! I think it was kinda “overacting”. But at least she was in tune this time. Nothing else to say. :(

GIAN – “Superstar” – For me this is the BEST performance tonight! Very good choice of song considering he just broke up with his GF, so he interpreted the song very well. Mr. C said, “…very classy.” I AGREE! Very good vocal control this time. And the arrangement was GREAT! I hope he stays in the competition! Keep it up!
