However, if Japanese legal adult film is censored, then it certainly isn’t a law that is enforced, because there is plenty of Japanese adult film around, and there are tons of shops in Tokyo selling harder adult film than you’ll find in a US adult shop. It also might just be one of those “outdated” laws. Like, in England, where penetration and spreads are illegal, but they’re still available in some adult film shops.
