This guy is a joke. After what he did in his fight with Hector Velasquez, he should be banned from boxing. The referee did warn him a couple of times but the idiot still went on with his dirty tactics.
Jan is a strong contender. Aside from his talent, he also has the looks. Rumor has it that Jan’s family is doing everything that they can money-wise to vote for him each week. So why was he included on the bottom three this week? I think it’s because Jan apparently who is an Atenean was pitted against Gian who apparently is from La Salle. The Lasallians came to Gian’s aid after Ryan Cayabyab said something like the Ateneans won this match-up. If you think otherwise, why do you think Miguel Mendoza is still on the top 5 despite his poor performances? It’s the La Salle votes.
FIRST COMMENT: I think this is another good week. Though last week’s performance night is still the BEST for me! :D The theme tonight is like a breath of fresh air (so to speak) from the usual ballads. Tonight we saw a lot of surprises too, especially with Jan’s performance!
Apple Chiu got the lower number of votes from the remaining 7 finalists of Philippine Idol. Ken Dingle and Pow Chavez were also on the bottom three.
Jan Nieto sang Livin La Vida Loca
Pow Chavez sang Got to be Real
Miguel Mendoza sang Make it with You
Ken Dingle sang Signed, Sealed, Delivered
Mau Marcelo sang Shy Guy
Gian Magdangal sang Rock DJ
Apple Chiu sang Lady Marmalade
APPLE – “Someone To Watch Over Me†– Good choice of song. What a way to start the competition! Mr. C said, “I like it, it was not exaggerated…I heard good tones in your voice.†I agree. Apple sang it beautifully & she’s very sexy. I just don’t know why she has not had a BF. Well maybe in time. Keep it up!
