Philippine Idol and Pinoy Dream Academy Head to Head

September 16th, 2006 blog4charity No comments

Phlippine Idol with their Wild Card Performance Night and Pinoy Dream Academy had their first expulsion night. Ok it was hard to keep up but the good thing was they weren’t really aired at the same time. Philippine Idol was aired a bit early so by the time Philippine Idol was over, we were also able to catch the Expulsion and it was a surprise that Gemma Fitzgerald was the first one to go. A lot of people I guess was hoping that it would be Rosita Bareng. Well, the pinoy dream academy teachers lead by Jim Paredes apparently thought otherwise.

Bacolod high-school Sex Video

September 7th, 2006 blog4charity 54 comments

Would you believe that there are underaged high school students in Bacolod (a certain city in the Philippines) engaging in group sex or orgy as seen by a concerned mother from her daughter’s cellphone? This is quite alarming. The age of the students were between 14 and 16 and the act was done inside an empty classroom in Bacolod. Now if this video surfaces in the internet for a lot of people to download (which can be considered as child porn because the participants are minors) then this is going to be a major scandal worldwide. Let’s just hope that this video stays hidden. But the issue of the degrading morality in our country is still present and we should all find a solution.

4 Filipinos were fired from their jobs at Hongkong Disneyland. They (all males) were involved in a cellphone scandal where they were playing around naked. Although their shift was over when the incident happened they were still terminated from their jobs. A number of Filipinos are working in the theme park since it opened in 2005.

Philippine Idol Disappointment

September 4th, 2006 blog4charity 12 comments

A lot of people are disappointed of the results of the top 4 male finalists. They think that Ramirr and Gian should be included. We think that Philippine Idol still lacks viewership. Only a few people have voted. It would have been a different story if Philippine Idol were shown on ABS-CBN or GMA then a lot of people would have been aware and would have voted. We saw the performance night on TV but we didn’t vote for anyone. I bet that’s true also for other viewers who are just curious but not that yet interested.
